Anybody got any plans for Sunday's Super Bowl? I realise a lot of you will be in bed, and probably don't care anyway....but do any of you have special plans for the game?
I am picking New Orleans over Indianapolis, although Indy will probably win with their high potency offense led by Peyton Manning. I usually go with the team with the best offensive line, which this year seems to be Nawlins.
My local bar is throwing a big wing ding...with fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy...the whole shot.
Me? I'll be enjoying the game in the comfort of my own home...in front of my new 40" Samsung LED screen. :vhappy:
Go Saints! :mexican:

Thanks for reminding me ... my set top box blew up so I have no TV ... better do something about that before Sunday!

I will be rooting for the Saints, since that town needs the psychological lift!

Unfortunately, my mom was in the hospital for a week for what turned out to be a partial lung blockage; she was then discharged to a nursing home for what was to be a week or so, but soon developed some infections (likely from the hospital) which resulted in taking antibiotics with a bunch of bad side-effects, so she is in pretty rough shape. I'll probably watch part of the game with her if she's up to it. Needless to say I won't be happening by here as often, but will still glance at it a few times a week so I don't get to far behind! :peace:

Hey, brother TJ...my prayers are all with your mom on this day. I hope that her health problems all float away.
This reminds me of my own mother; who succomed to COPD, emphesyma, and chronic bronchitis. Hopefully, your mom's symptoms are not quite that bad.
Take care...
Rob

Best wishes, TJ. :peace:

I don't watch much NFL now they took c5 off us, but I will be watching ... mainly to see how Peyton Manning does. Last time I watched was the last Colts Superbowl game, and I was impressed by him.

The Who, isn't it?

And my sister informs me Carrie Underwood. Whoever she is.

Ali has just broken one of the unwritten rules of this forum, he's called TJ by his first name :D

I know nothing. Hey, isn't the Who playing at this halftime? It'll be Pete and Roger lip synching and going through the motions....but it'll still be the Who!

I would call you TC if that name hadn't already been bagged by a certain cat. ;)

Great result at the Super Bowl by the way!

And The Who did just fine at half time. :D

They had fun at least. It was amazing how they got all that material into a 12 minute show.
The interception and runback with 3:19 left in the game put the icing on the cake. New Orleans should be partying all the way into and through the Olympics.
