Forum HIstorian Posts: 3,946 Group: Senior Member Member #2 Joined: June 20, 2005	...has arrived early up here in the woods. We have winter storm warnings up intil 7:00 PM on Monday. Looks like it's time to take my fishing rods out of my Jeep and replace them with blankets, jumper cables, etc. It's all happening early this year. Maybe that explains all the acorns I've seen layiing around lately.

The answer is always so the children won't have to go to school in the dark. So...instead, some guy who has worked all day comes home in the dark. Ever rake leaves in the dark? Me neither.

And apparently winter has come early to the Himalayas this year (according to my daughter). Maybe we are in for a spell of global bollock-freezing as an antidote to the other stuff.

Right now it's 33 with little snowballs falling. And Denali, who is my current avatar, is standing out in it.
